    FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

    On 01 April 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School marked the first day of the Academic Year 2026–27 with enthusiasm and positive energy. The day began with a welcome assembly, where students were greeted and encouraged for the new academic session. Teachers guided students about school rules, discipline, academic plans, and co-curricular activities for the year. Special activities were conducted to help students interact, feel comfortable, and build confidence in their new classes. The atmosphere was cheerful as students reconnected with their peers and teachers.     VIDYA KIRAN AWARD ACHIEVEMENT

    On 09 April 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School proudly celebrated the achievement of three outstanding students who were honored with the prestigious Vidya Kiran Award. The awardees are Jyotirmai (Class VIII), Anumita (Class IX), and Tejasvi (Class X). The selection was made by the organizing body through online student interviews, recognizing their academic excellence and overall performance. Each of the selected students received a certificate and a cheque of ₹1000 as a token of appreciation. This accomplishment brought great pride to the school and inspired other students to strive for excellence.

    SECOND PHASE ADMISSION TEST

    On 10 April 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School conducted the Second Phase Admission Test for all priority category students, based on the availability of vacancies for the Academic Year 2026–27.     On 15 April 2025, Visvodaya CBSE School conducted a Digital Awareness Session for teachers to enhance their technological skills and promote effective use of digital tools in education. The session focused on practical training in Google Sheets, Google Forms, and other digital activities useful for academic and administrative purposes. Teachers were guided on creating spreadsheets for data management, designing online forms for assessments and feedback, and utilizing digital platforms for efficient classroom practices.     On 15 April 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School proudly announced the Class X CBSE Board Examination Results, achieving an outstanding 100% pass result. Adding to this remarkable achievement, Nadhini Sahoo secured an exceptional 97%, marking one of the highest scores in the school’s history. This accomplishment reflects the dedication, hard work, and consistent efforts of the student, along with the guidance and support of teachers and parents. The excellent results brought immense pride to the school and highlighted its commitment to academic excellence.     From 16 April to 22 April 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School conducted an Inter-House Indoor Sports Competition with great enthusiasm and active participation from students. The competitions included Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom Board, providing students with opportunities to showcase their skills, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship. Students from different houses participated with competitive spirit and teamwork. The event was conducted smoothly under the supervision of teachers, ensuring fair play and discipline throughout.     VALEDICTORY FUNCTION OF SAFETY WEEK

    On 17 April 2026, students of Visvodaya CBSE School attended the Valedictory Function of Safety Week held at the Naval Dockyard. The students participated in the programme based on their performance in the Safety Week competitions, including Essay Writing and Poster Making. The winners were awarded prizes by Naval officials in recognition of their creativity and awareness on safety-related themes. The event provided a proud moment for the students as they were appreciated at a prestigious platform. It also reinforced the importance of safety awareness and responsible behaviour among young learners.     EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS – INTER-SCHOOL PARTICIPATION

    On 22 April 2026, students of Visvodaya CBSE School actively participated in Earth Day Celebrations organized by The Hindu at Visakha Valley School, Visakhapatnam. A total of 12 students from Classes VI to X took part in the Poster Making Competition, while 4 students participated in the Project Display. The students showcased their creativity and environmental awareness through their presentations. The project titled “Smart Home Automation”, prepared by Hima Chandra and Harsith Sai of Class X, received the Best Project Award. They were honoured with medals and certificates for their outstanding work and innovation. The participation and achievement brought great pride to the school and encouraged students to actively engage in environmental and scientific activities.

    REASSESSMENT INTERVIEWS FOR TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING STAFF

    On 29 April and 30 April 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School conducted Reassessment Interviews for both teaching and non-teaching staff to evaluate their skills, subject knowledge, professional competency, and overall performance.

    STAFF RECRUITMENT FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2026–27

    As part of the preparations for the Academic Year 2026–27, Visvodaya CBSE School conducted a Staff Recruitment Drive on 29 and 30 May 2026 to fill various academic and administrative positions, including Vice Principal, TGT Mathematics, TGT Physics, PRT English/Social Studies, Montessori Teacher, Music Teacher, and Floor Coordinator. The recruitment process involved interviews and assessments to evaluate the candidates’ qualifications, subject knowledge, teaching skills, communication abilities, and professional competence. The interviews were conducted by the Board President and Board Members comprising Naval officials, ensuring a transparent, fair, and merit-based selection process. The panel carefully assessed the candidates to identify qualified and dedicated professionals who would contribute to the school's academic excellence and overall development.     From 01 June to 05 June 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School conducted a Teachers’ Training Session as part of its continuous professional development programme. The training commenced with a Meditation and Mindfulness Activity aimed at promoting the well-being, mental wellness, and stress management of teachers. The session helped participants relax, improve focus, and cultivate a positive mindset before the start of the academic year. Throughout the training programme, teachers actively participated in various sessions designed to enhance their professional skills and teaching effectiveness.     From 01 June to 05 June 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School conducted a teachers’ training programme focusing on the effective implementation of Kushal Bodh Activities. During the training, teachers were guided on planning and conducting interactive, activity-based, and experiential learning sessions aligned with their respective subjects.     On 16 June 2026, as part of the International Yoga Day celebrations, Naval Dockyard organized Essay Writing and Poster Making Competitions for students of Classes IV to X. Students participated enthusiastically in both competitions, expressing their understanding of the importance of yoga, physical fitness, mental well-being, and healthy living. Through their essays and creative posters, students highlighted the benefits of practicing yoga in daily life. The competitions were conducted successfully, and the results were announced, recognizing the efforts and talents of the participants.     IIT HYDERABAD SKILL CHAMPIONSHIP CERTIFICATE DISTRIBUTION

    On 17 June 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School distributed participation certificates to 47 students who took part in the IIT Hyderabad Skill Championship. The certificate distribution programme was conducted at the school premises. The students had earlier undergone training sessions on Python Programming at the school Computer Lab, conducted by a resource person from IIT Hyderabad.     From 23 June to 25 June 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School conducted an ID Card Photo Session for all students and staff members. The photo session was organized as part of the process for issuing and updating Student and Staff Identity Cards for the Academic Year 2026–27. Photographs were taken systematically class-wise and department-wise to ensure smooth conduct of the activity.     On 02 July 2026, Visvodaya CBSE School felicitated G. Shyam Sasidhar of Class III during the morning assembly for his outstanding achievement in the District Skating Championship held on 28 June 2026 at Vaishaki Sports Park, Murali Nagar. G. Shyam Sasidhar secured the Gold Medal in the championship, bringing pride and recognition to the school.     On 03 July 2026 for Play School and 04 July 2026 for LKG and UKG, Visvodaya KG School celebrated Mud Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and their parents.     On 06 July 2026, Smt. J. Madhavi, Deputy Collector, Visakhapatnam Tourism, visited Meghadripeta Colony in connection with the SIR Survey. As part of her visit, she also visited Visvodaya CBSE School and met with the School Correspondent, Shri G. Vidhya Sagar. During the interaction, they discussed matters related to the survey and the school's role within the local community.
